Kelly Adorned Art Retreats Cancellation Policy
We understand that unexpected circumstances may arise, and we strive to provide a cancellation policy that is fair to both our participants and us. Please read the following policy carefully before booking your retreat.
We appreciate that connecting with a particular teacher can be an important part of choosing a retreat, and we do our best to ensure they’re able to lead as planned. In rare situations, a teacher may become unavailable due to illness or other unforeseen events, so we reserve the right to substitute a trusted artist for said workshop/retreat. Because we pay for venues, accommodations, and other retreat costs upfront, we’re unable to offer refunds due to a change in teacher. Please know that any substitute will be carefully chosen to uphold the same quality, warmth, and value of the retreat.
Insurance Requirement
Participants are required to have travel and workshop fee insurance to protect their investment in case of unforeseen events, such as illness or travel disruptions.
We encourage you to purchase trip insurance immediately upon registering, with “Cancel for Any Reason” to cover you for unexpected circumstances – buy trip insurance WHEN YOU BOOK YOUR TRIP if you wish to have this extra coverage.

Deposit & Payment Schedule
A $500 deposit is required to secure your place. This non-refundable deposit covers initial expenses and reserves your spot.
The remaining balance will be divided into two payments, with invoices sent 30 days before each due date:
The first payment will be due approximately 6 months before the retreat.
The final balance is due 3 months (90 days) before the retreat start date.
Cancellation Policy for Retreats
If you need to cancel your reservation before the 120-day deadline, you have the following options:
1. SOLD-OUT RETREAT WITH WAITLIST
If you have fully paid registration and if the retreat is sold out and there is a waitlist, you may offer your spot to the next person in line. If they accept, they will pay you directly, and we will officially transfer your reservation to them.
3. REFUND SCHEDULE
If the above option does not apply and you must cancel, refunds will be issued based on the following schedule:
More than 120 days before the retreat: 50% refund of the total amount paid (excluding the non-refundable deposit).
Between 120 and 90 days before the retreat: 25% refund of the total amount paid (excluding the non-refundable deposit).
Less than 90 days before the retreat: No refund available.
*****Travel insurance is a must.
Final Insurance Reminder
While travel insurance is mandatory, workshop fee insurance is strongly recommended to protect your investment. This also ensures the financial commitments made to our teachers and partners are upheld.
We appreciate your understanding and look forward to sharing a memorable and inspiring retreat with you!
